Documentary wedding photography is a working style where nothing is staged, nobody is posed, and the subject of a photograph is frequently unaware there is a camera being focused on them. I capture pure, natural moments… your father's tears… your best friend's killer dance moves… even that subtle eye-roll during your sister's toast. Of course, we'll still do the traditional family formal photos and group shots of the bridal party, but—aside from that 15-30 minute part of the day—the rest of your wedding day will be photographed naturally. So you will spend more time celebrating, and less time posing.

My goal is to ensure that your wedding photos are beautiful and flattering, but that they also capture the true essence of who you are—both as individuals, and as a couple.

There is no magic setting on the camera that does any of this—this is the realm of experience, sensitivity, curiosity and craftsmanship.

A lifelong resident of the Monadnock Region, since 1997 Scott has worked in the photography industry. His photographic skills were honed in his role as president and creative director of MSH Marketing Group, Inc., a family-run advertising agency. 

After many years of commercial photography experience, he officially launched his photography-exclusive business in 2009.  His photography publishing credits include several international trade magazines, BBC World News, Billboard Magazine, Rails To Trails Magazine, Road Racing World Magazine, as well as numerous local and regional publications. He also currently has two books of fine art photography available for sale, published by Phyr Publishing of San Antonio, TX.
