EnGAYged Weddings automatically collects information including but not limited to browser type, browser software version, IP address, geographical location information, and other information that may personally identify You. We reserve the right to collect and manage this information at Our discretion. We may use cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies to conduct research and analytics, to maintain records of Users' activities on Our Sites, to manage use of Our Sites and Sites services (including third party services), to customize and improve Users' experience, and as deemed necessary for additional Sites management purposes.

 

Additionally, We can and will use IP addresses to identify a User when we, in Our sole discretion, determine that it is necessary to enforce compliance with Our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, or to protect Our services, Sites, customers, vendors, or others.

 

1.2 Registration For EnGAYged Weddings On-Line Advertisers

If You register with the Sites by filling out an on-line advertising sign-up form, We collect and store Personal Information that specifically identifies You or the advertising account that You set up with EnGAYged Weddings (your "Account"). At this time, the most information You would be required to submit is Your first name, last name, business name, address, city, state, zip/postal code, country, phone number, email address, and website address (if applicable).

 

Other information requested on Our on-line advertising sign-up forms is optional. We may, in the future, include other optional requests for information from You to help Us tailor the Sites for You and to deliver personalized information to You. We may supplement Personal Information You provide Us with additional information purchased from third parties for marketing purposes.

 

1.3 Registration For EnGAYged Weddings On-Line Forum

If You register with the Sites by filling out an on-line forum sign-up form, We collect and store Personal Information that specifically identifies You or the account that You set up with EnGAYged Weddings (your "Account"). At this time, the most information You would be required to submit is Your email address and confirmation that You are 18 years of age or older. Other information requested on Our forum registration page is optional.

 

1.4 User Generated Passwords

Use of portions of the Sites requires You to establish a User ID and password. You agree that You will be responsible for maintaining Your password as confidential and that You are responsible for any activity that occurs on Your Account as a result of You sharing Your password with another or failing to protect it. EnGAYged Weddings is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from Your failure to maintain the confidentiality of Your password.

 

1.5 User-Submitted Information

EnGAYged Weddings reserves the right to retain any and all information submitted by Users through use of the Sites, including but not limited to reviews, public profile information, information submitted to surveys (created by Us or any other third party), personal messages sent through the Site, and posts to message boards or forums. We may supplement Personal Information You provide Us with additional information purchased from third parties for marketing purposes.

 

1.6 Google Custom Search

EnGAYged Weddings offers Google Custom Search for Users searching for specific information on Our Sites. We retain a database of search queries typed into Google Custom Search by Users on Our Sites.

 

1.7 Personal Information Indexed by Search Engines and Stored/ Returned in Search Results - Public Domain

As part of registration, You may set up a profile describing yourself, Your wedding or Your business. This profile will be publicly available on the internet and therefore can be indexed by search engines.

 

Users that choose to post information or to advertise with EnGAYged Weddings will find that any and all information they choose to post in Our online directory, on web banners, on Our forum, or through any other sources related to Our Sites, may be picked up by the internet search engines and further shared throughout the internet. EnGAYged Weddings can not be held liable for the subsequent sharing or display of such information due to this process; please do not submit Your full name and/or full company name, full street address, or other contact information to Our Sites if You do not wish it to be shared through the internet, as part of the public domain.

 

You will have the ability to hide Personal Information under Your my page settings on Our forum or by submitting a removal request through Our Contact Us page. Once You choose to hide Your profile or have Your information removed from Our Sites, it may take some time for the search engines (including but not limited to: Google, Yahoo, Bing) to cycle out their cached search results which may temporarily contain Your Personal Information. EnGAYged Weddings does not have direct control over the timeliness of the process for the search engines to remove Your Personal Information from their search results. EnGAYged Weddings will not have any obligation under this Privacy Policy with respect to Your Personal Information or information You voluntarily provide to other Users via the Sites that is displayed in on-line search results.

 

1.8 Online Surveys and Contests

Occasionally, EnGAYged Weddings may conduct User surveys to collect information about Our Users' preferences. These surveys are optional, and if You choose to respond, Your responses will be kept anonymous. These surveys may be conducted by and processed through third parties. Similarly, We may offer contests to qualifying Users in which We ask for contact and demographic information such as name, email address and mailing address.

 

Except with respect to any survey partners, none of the survey results are shared with third parties in a personally identifiable form. The demographic information that EnGAYged Weddings collects in the registration process and through surveys may be used to help Us improve Our Services and Site to meet the needs and preferences of Our Users. This may include targeting advertising to You about Our Services and Site. Information We gather through a contest may also be disclosed to third parties as necessary for prize fulfillment and other aspects of any contest or similar offering.

 

 

2. HOW WE USE AND DISCLOSE INFORMATION

 

2.1 Analytic Technologies

When You visit Our Sites, We may collect various types of technical data. This data includes, but is not limited to, domain and/or Web browser information. We may track which website You visited before arriving at Our Sites and the website You visit when You leave Our Sites. We may also keep a record of which pages of Our websites You visit, and how long You spend on each page.

 

We use tools called “Google Analytics”, "Google Custom Search", “Woopra” , and "Advanced Website Statistics for ASP by Website Panel" to collect information about the use of Our Sites. Google Analytics and Advanced Website Statistics for ASP collect information such as how often users visit Our Sites, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other websites they used prior to coming to Our Sites. Google Custom Search records search queries submitted by Users on Our Sites. Woopra collects live traffic data so that We can view the activity on Our Sites in real-time. We use the information We get from Google Analytics, Google Custom Search, Advanced Website Statistics for ASP and Woopra to improve Our Sites and to provide current traffic statistics for Our Sites to third party advertisers and other affiliates.

 

2.2 Statistical Analysis

EnGAYged Weddings may collect and analyze Aggregate Information acquired through Analytic Technologies to determine how many visitors arrived at certain pages of Our Sites, how long they stayed on those pages, and where they went afterwards. This information allows Us to determine which pages might be the most interesting to Our Users and enables Us to provide them with a better and richer experience on Our Sites by informing advertisers about the nature of Our User base and improving customer relations.

 

We may use this information, for example, to monitor and analyze the use of Our Sites, to increase Our Sites' functionality, and to better tailor Our content and design to suit Our Users needs. 

  

2.3 Registration Information

We may use Your information (including Personal Information and Automatically Gathered Information) for Our own internal purposes, including but not limited to contacting You via email to inform You about updates to Our Services, providing You with information relating to e-commerce transactions that You conduct on Our Sites, editorial updates, information about Your account or changes to Our Sites, and promotional messages about Our own or Our marketing partners' products and services. If You signed up for one of Our email newsletters, We will send You the newsletter that You requested. 

 

We reserve the right to disclose Your information as required by law. We also reserve the right to transfer Your Personal Information as part of a transfer of all or part of EnGAYged Weddings' assets to a buyer, as described in "Corporate Mergers or Acquisition," below.

 

2.4 The EnGAYged Weddings' On-line Vendor Directory

The EnGAYged Weddings On-line Vendor Directory provides advertising listings searchable by geographical location and wedding service category of participating EnGAYged Weddings Vendors as well as a listing of local businesses. If an EnGAYged Weddings Vendor is registered, the vendor's information will be made publically available on the on-line Directory.

 

To improve and personalize Vendor Listings EnGAYged Weddings may collect information about a Vendor's Business from third parties and provide this information on their behalf. This information may include, but is not limited to the following: the Vendor's Business Social Media Accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Linked In, Dot 429, Trip Advisor, and Google Plus), the Vendor's Blog or other advertisements belonging to the Vendor's Business.

 

If an EnGAYged Weddings Vendor is registered, We may chose to promote the Vendor's information. Promotion includes but is not limited to posting the Vendor's information to Our social media (Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter), Our Forum, Our Newsletters, and/or Our Sites.

 

As specified in Our Terms of Use, after EnGAYged Weddings and the Vendor Member have terminated their relationship, EnGAYged Weddings shall be entitled to retain all associated information with a Vendor Member on the Sites as well as basic directory information, including, without limitation, business name, address and telephone number.

 

2.5 The EnGAYged Weddings' On-line Forum Community

The Forum Area of the Sites is for the benefit of the Users. It is a public discussion and communication Forum whereby content (best practices, suggestions, etc.) is generated by the EnGAYged Weddings Community. By Your participation to this area of the Sites, You acknowledge that the information posted will reside in the public domain and will be publicly available.

 

From time to time EnGAYged Weddings Staff may examine this content or other user behavior to confirm that the Terms of Use are not being breached and EnGAYged Weddings may remove any content that is inappropriate in EnGAYged Weddings' sole discretion.

 

We strongly recommend that You refrain from posting any Personal Information in this Forum, and You may not post the Personal Information of any other person on the Forum.

 

2.6 Comments and Questions Submitted By Users On Our Sites

If You choose to engage in public activities on the Sites, such as posting comments on community message boards, posting photos to Our Forum or posting events to Our Community Calendar, any information You submit can be read, collected, or used by others. Please exercise caution when deciding to disclose any Personal Information in public activities or submissions on Our Sites.

 

2.7 Comments and Questions Submitted By Users To Our Sites

EnGAYged Weddings constantly seeks to improve the quality of the Services We provide and the User experience on Our Sites. We value Your input and encourage You to help Us expand and make improvements to Our Sites by providing Us with any thoughts or comments You might have regarding Our Services or the Operation of the Sites. You can submit any comments You have to Us by clicking on the link "Contact Us" at the bottom of most of the pages on the Sites.

 

We will only use Your login information to acknowledge or respond to Your comments. Submitting comments via the "Contact Us" page will not cause You to receive any secondary or promotional material from us, unless specifically requested by You.

 

All ideas, suggestions comments and proposals that You send to EnGAYged Weddings (collectively, "Submissions") are non-confidential and shall become the sole property of EnGAYged Weddings. EnGAYged Weddings shall own all rights therein, including all intellectual property rights. EnGAYged Weddings shall be entitled to use and/or disseminate the Submissions in any manner and for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without compensation or credit to You.

 

2.8 Advertising and the Digital Advertising Alliance

We may send You email communications including information that We think may be of interest to You. You may opt out of receiving these email communications. We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when You visit Our website. These companies may use information about Your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to You ("Online Behavioral Advertising").

 

If You would like more information about this practice and to know Your choices about not having this information used by these companies please visit About Ads. The About Ads site will allow You to opt out of On-line Behavioral Advertising from companies that participate in the Digital Advertising Alliance. 2.9 Email Opt-Out Options and Bureau of Consumer Protection CAN-SPAM Act Compliance

EnGAYged Weddings is in compliance with the requirements of the US Federal Trade Commission Bureau of Consumer Protection CAN-SPAM Act. The CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages and gives email  recipients the right to opt-out of having commercial email sent to them.

 

You may choose not to receive promotional emails or electronic newsletters from Us by: (A) following the "unsubscribe" instructions in the specific email from which You wish to opt-out; (B) Specifying the particular email list(s) from which You wish to be removed by using Our Contact Us page or (C) By calling Our Customer Service Department at 1-855-436-5428 (1-855-IDO-LGBT).

 

EnGAYged Weddings honors email opt-out requests. We will honor a recipient’s opt-out request for the specified email address within 10 business days. If a User has multiple email addresses from which they wish to opt-out then We require that the User notify Us of each email address.

 

2.10 Terminating Your Membership

We save Your Personal Information until Your membership with Us is terminated and You unsubscribe to email notifications. To terminate Your membership, contact Customer Service through Our Contact Us page or by calling Our Customer Service Department at 1-855-436-5428 (1-855-IDO-LGBT). If You terminate Your membership, Your Personal/Profile Information cannot be recovered. You may continue to receive email communications for a short period of time until We have updated all of Our databases. After termination of Your membership, Your Personal Information may remain on Our archived database and records.

 

Notwithstanding the above, We will maintain information on Users who have been removed for violating Our Terms of Use and We will maintain email addresses in Our unsubscribe lists.

 

2.11 Data Security

We will use commercially reasonable methods to keep Personal Information securely in Our files and systems. Our Payment System is operated using secure Internet connections through PayPal using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption, to help protect Your financial data. Please note that with current technology, We cannot guarantee the security of Your data as it travels over the Internet.

 

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and to ensure the appropriate use of information, We have taken appropriate precautions to safeguard any information We collect and/or store on Our servers through a visitor’s use of Our Online Services, including Secured Socket Layers (SSL) and other encryption technology. Although We take appropriate measures to safeguard against unauthorized disclosures of information, We cannot assure You that the Personally Information that We collect will never be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Policy. If You have reason to believe that Your interaction with Us is no longer secure You must immediately notify Us of the problem through Our Contact Us page.

 

2.12 EnGAYged Weddings Does Not Retain Your Credit Card Information

When a User makes a payment via debit or credit card either through Our secure PayPal connection or over the telephone EnGAYged Weddings does not record or store their credit card information. EnGAYged Weddings does not automatically charge and renew expired advertising subscriptions. If a User wishes to upgrade or update their advertising subscription or to renew their advertising subscription with EnGAYged Weddings at a later date then the User will be required to resubmit their credit card information at that time.

 

2.13 Product Purchases

EnGAYged Weddings may offer the ability to purchase certain goods, merchandise, or services through Our Online Services. In connection with these purchases, You may be asked to provide Your shipping and/or delivery (if different from the postal address) addresses, telephone number, and credit card information.

 

2.14 The EnGAYged Weddings Web Sites Contain Links to External Web Sites

EnGAYged Weddings is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any other Web Sites to which Our Sites link to or which link to Our Sites. When You click on a link You may be taken to a location on the Internet that is not part of the EnGAYged Weddings Sites. To check what Internet location You are on, note the URL at the top and/or bottom of Your browser. 2.15 EnGAYged Weddings' Co-Branded or Partnered Services

EnGAYged Weddings may enter into co-branding or partnering relationships with third-party Web Sites and companies to provide products and Services to Our Users or to such third parties' Users. EnGAYged Weddings may share Your Personal Information, including User ID and password, with certain co-branded third-party service or product providers as required to provide a specific product or service that You request from a co-branded page or co-branded site.

 

If You join EnGAYged Weddings through a co-branded or partnered site (e.g. on a co-branded Registration page), it is EnGAYged Weddings'
general policy not to share anything other than summarized or aggregated data with the partner. 2.20 Corporate Mergers or Acquisition

We may engage in a corporate merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, or similar transaction or proceeding that involves the transfer of the information described in this Privacy Policy. If Our company or Our assets related to the Sites are acquired by another company or merged with another company, that company will possess the Personal Information collected by Us and it will assume the rights and obligations regarding Your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy. EnGAYged Weddings Web Sites are designed and intended for use by adults. We do not intentionally gather Personal Information about persons who are under the age of 18. We ask that individuals under the age of 18 not submit personal information to Us through Our Sites. We do not permit individuals under the age of 18 to join Our Community Forums. If You believe that an individual under the age of 18 has joined Our Community Forum please contact us.

 

2.23 Children's Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), We do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from anyone under 13 years of age. If We learn that We have collected any Personal Information from a child under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent We will delete that information from Our database as quickly as possible. The Sites' offices are located in the United States.
