We love helping with weddings. We offer couples a full array of services from pre-marital counseling to event planning; from officiants and facilities; to videographers and musicians; to liturgies and receptions. We are your one stop shop for your wedding. 

Although we focus on "church weddings," we can also support your event in a venue of your choosing.  

My name is Father Al Risdorfer, and I am pastor of Our Lady Undoer of Knots Inclusive Catholic Community.

I am honored to help make your wedding the most wonderful day of your life. We are a Catholic community in the American National Catholic Church with a valid priesthood and sacraments, but we are not affiliated with the Roman Church in that we hold different views on sexuality gender and governance.  

Our Lady Undoer of Knots Inclusive Catholic Community has several officiants who will work with you to create your reverent and romantic ceremony.

• Father Al Risdorfer specializes in Catholic unions. Father Al has been with his husband for 27 years and is a passionate activist for LGBTQ weddings and rights.
• Father Steve Stahley provides Catholic services and is a happily married pastor and father of two.

As an inclusive faith community, we do not withhold sacraments from anyone who approaches with reverence and instead offer our services – including wedding services - regardless of gender, orientation, gender identity, pervious marital status, etc.

I can preside over your wedding ceremony at any venue within the rubric of the Catholic Sacrament of Matrimony, which includes a brief introduction, a short sermon, witnessing to your exchange of vows, blessing your rings and a Nuptial Blessing to your both. I also would offer a full Nuptial Mass including Holy Communion if you so desire. The sacrament of Matrimony within the setting of the Mass is simply beautiful and spiritually significant. But it is up to you of course.

• Full Eucharistic Nuptial Mass Celebration
• Customized sermons (approx. 10 minutes)
•  Pre-Cana Services: We can provide you with guidance and pre-marital counseling to help you prepare for your life together. We use a study course called “Prepare & Enrich” —an established, ecumenical, well established marriage prep service.

If you do not have a venue or would prefer a church wedding, we have a beautiful church facility here in Pikesville.

We offer the beautiful stone gothic church of St Marks on the Hill with its amazing stained-glass windows and stunning triptych of the Passion of our Lord and surrounding gardens. Our facilities are air-conditioned and have access to dressing areas and restrooms.  

We are a parish within the American National Catholic Church.

We are a determined group of independent Catholics and our friends.  We started our community in the Spring of 2019 and are working to build a parish that is vibrant, nurtuing and fun.   

Our Chapter is A Ministry of OLUK!! We welcome....

• Former clergy and religious who want to minister again
