Weddings With Rustic Charm
Yarborough Mill is truly a magical place where very special memories are made. If you desire an authentic, rustic outdoor wedding near Atlanta, search no more.
Established in 1849, Yarborough Mill is a privately owned historical property in a very unique setting. Once a working gristmill and thriving settlement at the turn of the century it has been transformed into a beautiful outdoor wedding venue. Its special blend of architecture, from the gristmill at the water’s edge, to the stately Victorian home on the hillside, is perfectly situated in a beautiful pastoral setting on the water, creating a stunning background for your outdoor wedding.
In 1998, the property was purchased and lovingly restored by the current owners to its original state. Their efforts to stay true to the original design is evident at every turn.
Built in 1885, the Queen Anne Victorian style home is a beautifully landscaped area for photos with the wedding party either before or after the ceremony. The Pavillion area by the water is the perfect setting to recite your vows, and afterward, guests can proceed to The Mill for the reception. They will enjoy meandering the beautifully landscaped grounds which create a small village feel, as they walk by the old general store and barn, where mail was once delivered by horseback.

The Pavilion
Sitting on the scenic banks of Pine Log Creek, the rustic Pavillion with its hand-hewn beams, stone fireplace, and stained glass will create an intimate setting for your ceremony. Your fiancé can gaze up at the Victorian Home as you emerge and begin your procession down to your guests at the water’s edge. We provide and set up all of the seating for up to 150 guests.

Yarborough Mill is an Indoor/Outdoor Wedding Venue and Can Accommodate up to 150 Guests
The rustic Pavilion at water’s edge is the perfect place to say, “I do.” The Wedding Cottage provides plenty of room for the wedding party to get ready and assemble before the ceremony and doubles as a guest house that can accommodate up to 11. After your ceremony, celebrate with up to 150 of your closest friends in the 1849 Mill. With its rustic chandeliers and string lights, it is the perfect place to dance the night away after exchanging vows.
The original Barn, which houses The Honeymoon Suite, has a lofted room overlooking the grounds. Rustic and romantic, the honeymoon suite is the perfect ending to your perfect day.

The Mill: Built in 1849
Once a working gristmill, three-story Yarborough Mill was built in 1849, and is an expansive space with sweeping two-story ceilings and hand-hewn beams. A built-in stage, which once held the mill equipment, is ideal for your band, DJ or a head table for your bridal party. We provide tables and chairs for up to 150 guests and can set up both inside and around the outside of the Mill which lends itself to mingling and enjoying the breathtaking natural surroundings.
At the end of your perfect day, you have the option of retreating to the rustic and romantic Honeymoon Suite. Relax in the clawfoot tub or watch the deer wander through the fields while you sip coffee on the first day of your new life together.
