The Sorrento Hotel opened in 1909, just before the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition, a world's fair that was held in Seattle to highlight the development of the Northwest. The exposition attracted nearly 4 million visitors, which made for an auspicious beginning for the city's first and what would become the longest-standing boutique hotel.

The Malone Family has owned the Sorrento since the 1980s and since has restored the hotel's appearance, as well as its reputation for hospitality. The Penthouse Suite & Top of the Town Rooms

For ceremonies and receptions of up to 100 guests, the Penthouse Suite and Top of the Town rooms offer a truly unique setting for your special day. Wedding ceremonies take place in the Top of the Town, featuring stunning views of the Seattle cityscape as the backdrop for your vows.

Guests of the Sorrento Hotel are then invited to the Penthouse Suite for cocktail hour, a setting complete with a grand piano, vintage fireplace and rooftop deck. Following the cocktail hour, a lavish dinner and dancing take place in the transformed Top of the Town. Reserve the entire Seventh Floor for the best cocktail reception for up to 130 people.
