I will be happy to meet with you for a no-obligation interview. Let's discuss how I can help make your wedding ceremony dreams come true!

New York Certified Celebrant, Licensed Officiant & Non-Denominational Minister

I am a Certified Celebrant and ordained nondenominational Minister. I have a diploma in Marriage Celebrancy through the Celebrant USA Foundation, of which I am also a member. I am a licensed officiant in New York City and also serve eastern New Jersey, lower Westchester and Sullivan County New York, and The Berkshires, Massachusetts. I love bringing joy to people's lives by creating memorable ceremonies for life's most important events.

Gay & Lesbian Marriage Now Legal in New York!

Everyone deserves the right to declare their love and celebrate with family and friends. My partner and I got married in Canada and Massachusetts before it was legal in New York, so I understand how important it is to celebrate a legal marriage.

Gay & Lesbian Wedding Ceremonies

The elements of a gay or lesbian wedding ceremony are really no different from a wedding ceremony for a straight couple, but there may be desired nuances. I understand those nuances and can help create a ceremony and make recommendations that reflect your needs.

Your ceremony can be anything you want it to be. Throw away old ideas about what a ceremony should include, and start fresh!  After all, this is a historical time for gay and lesbian rights!

Through a series of meetings and questionnaires, I will get to know who you are, as individuals and as a couple. I will learn about how you met, your love story, what you love about each other, and what your hopes and dreams are for the future.

We will discuss family, cultural, and other traditions that reflect your story. We may discover practices you were not aware of that will enhance your ceremony. As your Celebrant, I will guide you in the creation of a ceremony that is perfect for you! We will discuss how family and friends may be included. I will research traditions, vows, poems, readings, music, including the time-honored and the original. We may even invent our own! The sky is the limit!

You will have full approval of your entire ceremony, and I will give you a beautiful keepsake copy that you can treasure forever. Perhaps you will want to read it together each year on your anniversary, or resurrect it for a future milestone anniversary.

What are you waiting for?  Call me!
