New York Same Sex Weddings are legal! And I am very happy to officiate at same-sex marriage ceremonies. I will work with you to customize your ceremony to be inclusive and loving. If you are a Jewish couple, and you are seeking a religious ceremony, I will explain all the rituals and the significance of our traditions to your modern lives. If you are seeking a spiritual but non-religious ceremony, I will help you to design that as well. And of course, a civil non-religious ceremony will also be meaningful and loving.
Destination weddings are a specialty. I am based in New York City and I will officiate anywhere in the world at any ceremony that celebrates love and commitment between two people. I've been to Turks and Caicos and Cancun many times and I offer my skills and more than twenty years of experience to accommodate you in every possible way.
I frequently perform civil weddings in Central Park. I'm the only rabbi I know who rides up on his bike to officiate at wedding ceremonies!
Having your Jewish Wedding, Interfaith Wedding, Civil, Non-Religious or Same-Sex Wedding officiated by me, you can trust that I will provide you with exactly the type of ceremony you request- from a simple exchange of vows and rings through a more spiritual ceremony or a traditional wedding filled with ritual. It is totally up to you! I will accommodate your needs and support your choices.
In our phone conversation, video chat or personal meeting we will go over exactly what you would like your wedding ceremony to include. And of course, I will help to guide you through the entire process from obtaining a marriage license through breaking the wedding glass!
While I am an Interfaith Rabbi, I am also trained as a Cantor and I sing and play guitar & piano. Some couples like to hear me sing their favorite love song during the processional or ceremony or for the couple's first dance. I also sing and play Jazz - and I'm available to do a short set before or after your ceremony!
My fee is very reasonable for a quick simple civil ceremony (an exchange of rings & vows) in Manhattan. You can even have your ceremony in my office which is located in the 70's on Riverside Drive, overlooking the Hudson River! There is an additional travel fee for other NYC Boroughs.
For a religious ceremony or one that is customized (which might include a spiritual component, readings, a song, customized vows, etc.) please call me at directly at 917-407-0477 for more information.
