Most importantly, couples have ‘word for word’ approval of the entire text of their wedding ceremony.

 

Former Staff Attorney for Lambda Legal - Long Time Supporter of Marriage Equality

As a former staff attorney for Lambda LDEF (1995-1997) Kim Kirkley was a part of some of the early strategy sessions for same-sex marriage. During her tenure with Lambda, one of her proudest accomplishments is successfully asking Mrs. Coretta Scott King to publicly endorse marriage equality. 

 

Modern Minister and Celebrant Kim Kirkley dedicates her professional  life to crafting award-winning  ceremonies and she is  thrilled to now be able to legally unite same-sex couples in New York. 

 

Over the last 9 years Kim has performed more than 500 elegant, note worthy, wedding ceremonies throughout the tri-state area.  During this time she has cherished the opportunity to perform commitment ceremonies in NY and same-sex marriages in Connecticut. 

 

Today, she is thrilled to be able to craft and deliver elegant personalized wedding ceremonies to couples in New York.
