We are a full service catering company and we can organize equipment rental and decoration services for our customers for an additional fee.

Markea Prawns™ of New Caledonia

Buzz's Wharf Catering uses exclusively Markea Prawns™ of New Caledonia for all shrimp dishes. These prawns have a clean sweet natural flavor. Some clients have been heard commenting that Markea Prawns™ are better than lobster.

Certified Angus Beef, CAB

We us only Certified Angus Beef in all of our beef dishes. CAB offers consistency in taste and flavor. Add our special seasoning or marinades and you have... well you will have to experience it for yourself.

Fresh Maui Island Fish

Maui is blessed to have access to the freshest fish in the Pacific. Your fish will be ordered fresh the day of your event. We can order any fresh fish to fit your budget. Commonly used fish are: Mahi Mahi or Dorado, Ono or Wahoo, Snapper, & swordfish.

Buzz's Wharf Restaurant

A Maui Classic for 40 Plus Years!

Buzz's Wharf Restaurant recently celebrated 40 years of operation, and is one of Maui's oldest restaurants. As a landmark in Ma'alaea Bay Harbor, Buzz's continues, year after year, to greet and extend their ho'okipa (hospitality) to both newcomers and their loyal local and visitor clientele. The panoramic views of the harbor, Mt. Haleakala and the southern coastline of Maui only serve to enhance your dining experience. Watching pods of humpback whales (during whale season) and surfers "catchin' da wave," is an added bonus!

In 1967, Jerry & Eileen Macdonald opened Buzz's Wharf Restaurant above the Ma'alaea Boat Club, where it still stands today. They shared 30 successful years in the restaurant business on Maui and Honolulu. In 1993, the Macdonald's retired and the next generation took over. The American Cuisine with an Island flavor continues on. Mrs. Macdonald's French Tahitian roots contributed to many of the unique menu items. Their signatures dish the "Markea Sweet Prawns Tahitian" being the most popular.
