The owners Phil and Barbara will be with you throughout the entire process offering their guidance from their years of experience. And they will be there on your special day to ensure that your dream is carried out. If you are looking for a unique handcrafted cuisine for your special day please give us a call. As the owners we will personally see your reception through from the menu design, through the attention to each home made sauce to the cooking of your delicious meal, created right at your reception in our portable kitchen.
Our original name (Back Creek Catering) comes from our origins which go back to the Maritime Republic of Eastport in the mid nineties. In those days we specialized in Carolina barbeque style cooking before expanding into more formal dining and wedding style reception events.

The difference is in the hand crafting of the Hors D'oeuvres. We highlight our specialties such as making a pâté out of our cherry wood smoked turkey and placing it in a crisp phylo shell with a dollop of cranberry orange jalapeño sauce on top. As with all of our crab products we let the wonderful flavor of the bay's crabmeat speak for itself in our mouth watering crab balls.
All of our sauces are hand crafted and unique. Whether it is a peppery sweet wine reduction for red meat or a cranberry jalapeño for our signature cherry wood smoked turkey; everything that they serve is a memory that your guests will be talking about for years to come.
Our award winning ribs are cooked using special techniques to lock in the fruity cherry wood flavor as well as the natural juices of the ribs themselves. As these flavors meld together with our own rubs we bake on our delicious BBQ sauce until the meat is falling off the bone and dissolving into your mouth. These ribs are equally delicious with or without the sauce.
This unique Japanese breed of cow is fed on beer and given several massages a day... (what? I want to be a Kobe cow in my next life!) We then take the inside round rub it down in thirty six spices and herbs and slow cook it in the kettle grill. The result is a melt in your mouth taste experience that you will never forget.
