This reception site in CT offers outdoor wedding ceremonies, garden settings, ponds, water gardens and gazebos, banquet rooms with marble fireplaces, mahogany columns, marble floors, crystal chandeliers and walls of glass. We offer a full service catering and event planning service. Woodwind’s is proud of the newly created ambiance in The Foyer, a reception area that is appointed like no other function space in Connecticut. Featuring mahogany paneled columns, jewel colored rich fabrics on stunning period couches, and crystal chandeliers. You will feel like you’ve been transported to a European country estate. You may decide to have your ceremony in front of the regal stairway, followed by cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the spacious area directly adjacent to the sweeping stairwell.

 

 

 

Two Complimentary Private Dressing Suites

 Upstairs are two complimentary deluxe suites that have been recently refurbished, and offer the brides or the grooms all of the privacy they could desire for themselves and their bridal party to prepare for the wedding ceremony. These luxurious suites were designed to make the brides or grooms-to-be as comfortable as possible. Food and beverage service is available.

 

 

 

Elegant Ballrooms with French Doors & Marble

The two elegant ballrooms are bathed in natural light from the windows and French doors that when combined, can accommodate up to 600 guests. The new imported marble dance floor is fit for royalty. Crisp white chair covers and impeccable linens compliment the table settings.
