About the Queen of the Valley Inn:

Built by prosperous oat farmers, "rural aristocracy", in 1908, this 3-story farmhouse was converted to a bed and breakfast over 25 years ago and beautifully renovated in 2004 and 2005 by the current owners, combining the luxuries of a boutique hotel with the personal attention of the finest bed and breakfasts.

The Queen of the Valley Inn Bed and Breakfast is ideally located for exploring both the quaint village of La Conner and the adjacent miles of Skagit Valley farmland. The valley is world-famous for its spectacular displays of flowers (daffodils, tulips, irises and many more) in the spring.

Summer offers the bounty of the area's produce, as well as plenty of sunshine for sailing and kayaking. Fall brings the changing colors of nature, apple harvests, corn-mazes and sincere pumpkin patches. Winter is an excellent time to enjoy bird-watching, including bald eagles, snow geese, trumpeter swans and raptors. The Queen loves to plan parties and will customize anything from wine tastings to martini parties, weekend-long childbirth classes (Lamaze or Bradley), smoke-your-own salmon weekends and even sausage-making lessons! Our Mission:

We hope you find an atmosphere so filled with joy, humor and commitment to comfort that it will take wild horses to pull you out the door. At the Queen of the Valley Inn, you won't find pretentious Victorian knick-knacks or cute "country" clichés. What you will find is elegant, eclectic luxury, a mix of old and new with a touch of whimsy; a respite from your daily life.

The Queen's Cuisine:

The Queen never serves Spam, processed cheese-food, or any form of soup from a can. Our proper breakfasts feature locally grown produce and seasonal specialties from the Skagit Valley and around the northwest. You call it breakfast. We call it 'love on a plate'. All breakfasts include coffee, tea, juice, and milk. Please inform us several days in advance of your stay about any dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate you.

The Queen's Accommodations:

All rooms have mini-refrigerators, hair dryers, soap, shampoo, conditioner, spa robes. All baths are private and en-suite. Ask about our "Run-of-the-House" specials, executive conferences, girlfriend getaways and other specials. The Inn is the best place for small, elegant events such as weddings, anniversaries, and special birthdays. We delight in tailoring events to your exact needs, with a surprise or two thrown in.
