Rick Helman Photography & Video Inc. was founded by Rick Helman in Rockland County, N.Y. in 1998. Since then, the company has won numerous awards and expanded to a second location in northern New Jersey, as Rick Helman and his team of talented professionals have brought their passion for photography and videography to capture every moment of more than 1,000 weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, sweet sixteens, corporate parties, and other special events.  

Rick Helman and his staff pride themselves on creating unique packages to fit the specific needs of each client, and every event. Our photo albums are all custom designed-we never use templates. If you have a special idea for a photo, Rick can help make that a reality. Rick and his team work in a variety of styles, always capturing your special moment, from beautiful, perfectly posed portraits to great, candid photo-journalism shots. Rick's team makes an effort to incorporate the setting-whether it's a scenic water view, or a lovely sunset-of each event into the photos.

Rick Helman Photography and Video also offer a variety of creative poster and photo gift ideas, to keep the memories of your special event alive forever. All of the videos that Rick's team creates are unique. The bride and groom are given input into every detail, from what to include, to music selections.

Rick's videographers take pride in bringing a cinematic look and feel to your special event. They use all the latest equipment, from advanced video cameras and state-of-the-art digital editing systems to the best SLR cameras and lighting equipment available. For example, Rick Helman Photography and Video is one of the only studios in the area that uses infra-red cameras to add a unique and special element to your albums and prints. Rick's work has been published internationally, and he is affiliated with the PPA. The studio has won international and local awards for our unique and artistic photography. His videographers are a member of NJVA.
