Wedding Ceremonies in our Courtyard Grotto

Perhaps Edward Searles had wedding ceremonies in mind when he designed the elegant courtyard grotto. Circular in shape, with a raised ceremonial area a wooded backdrop, and seating for up to 250 guests, the Searles Castle Grotto provides a fantasy site for your most special event.

Whether the couple chooses to arrive by Limousine, a Cinderella Carriage or through the Castle’s Windsor doors, guests will witness an entrance second to none.

The Searles Castle Wedding Ceremony Package Includes:

An extra ½ hour on the day of the event to accommodate the ceremony without infringing on reception time.
A bridal consultant to plan, rehearse and supervise the blessed event.
Formal, white, wooden ceremony chairs, including padded seats, set out and arranged exclusively for each wedding.
A formal rehearsal to be held during the week before the wedding

For an additional fee, The couple may arrive an additional 1 ½ hour early, and avail themselves of the luxurious second floor Master Suite for last minute touch-ups, dressing and a special photo session. Wedding Reception Dinner Menus

Searles Castle at Windham offers two formats for your wedding reception dinner service.

Station Service

Station Service offers a wide variety of entrées to your guests, but requires them to leave their table and visit the entrée station. Guests are invited up a few tables at a time by a member of our staff. This format does not require any tracking of guests selections, as each guest is offered each entrée.

Plated Service

Plated Service offers your guests one entrée, but affords them the full service of our Professional Wait staff. This format requires each guests entrée choice be counted and tracked to provide efficient service.
