Botanicals Day Spa - Avon CT

Botanicals Day Spa was opened on November 1st, 2008 by Liz May, who has been a licensed massage therapist and bodywork practitioner since 2004. Upon graduating from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, Liz worked at another day spa until it's unfortunate closing in October of 2008. It was then that Liz decided to open her own business, Botanicals Day Spa. Please feel free to stop by and get a personal tour of the spa, or just to say hello. Skin Care Services
Botanicals Signature Facial - This is one of the most complete and personalized, pampering facials that you will ever experience. This treatment is full of anti-inflammatory plant extracts that will leave your skin feeling both rebalanced and dewy without unsightly marks. Forearms and hands are massaged and then warmed with mitts to seal in moisture.
Alpha-Glow - This magnificent fruit acid treatment uses organically sourced AHA-BHA from natural fruits. Instantly improves skin's roughness by restoring a healthy cell renewal cycle. Skin's surface becomes noticeably smoother to reveal a luminous complexion.

**Now Offering Threading** - Threading is a proven age-old form of facial hair removal practiced in India, China and Middle East. The procedure uses a 100% cotton thread which is twisted and pulled along the skin surface of unwanted hair, lifting hair directly from the follicle. As the facial hair is removed, only a slight pinch is felt. Threading is the perfect facial hair removal alternative to waxing, depilatory creams tweezing or laser, especially if you have sensitive skin. Also, since threading is a completely natural skin removal process, it works on all skin types, whether you have normal skin, sensitive skin, tanned or damaged skin.

Couple's Massage - Start off your session with an aromatherapy steam bath, followed by massages together in the same room. Enjoy a complementary glass of wine and refreshments.
Hot Stone Massage - A full body massage using warmed oils and heated stones. Designed to balance chakras, remove negative energy, and relax all muscles.
Body Treatments Salt Glow - Our luxurious blend of aromatic oils and Dead Sea salts will invigorate your senses and leave your skin looking dew-kissed and fresh.
Thermal Mud Wrap - Each area is first exfoliated with a dry brush. Your therapist will customize your marine clay enriched with Kawa Kawa to suit and apply with a brush. You will be wrapped in a cocoon of warmth while receiving a luxurious scalp massage. Once unwrapped, you'll shower off, return to the treatment room and a hydrating milk will be applied to the skin. Great for sore muscles and cellulite reduction.

Hand and Foot Care
Spa Manicure - Experience a manicure like no other. Your hands will be exfoliated, then moisturized with a hydrating cream, and sealed with paraffin. Instantly improves elasticity and softness.
Spa Pedicure - Treat your toes to a soothing and relaxing spa pedicure. You'll enjoy an invigorating foot and lower leg massage, exfoliation, and a warm paraffin treatment.
Petite Pedicure - For those in a hurry, we offer an express pedicure which includes filing, buffing, cuticle erasing, and polish.

That's A Wrap! - Begin with an aromatherapy steam bath, followed by a Thermal Mud Wrap, and a relaxing 50-minute Swedish massage.
Some Time Away - An aromatherapy steam bath precedes a Deep Pore Treatment facial, followed by an exfoliating Salt Glow, and a 50-minute Deep Tissue massage.
Here Comes the Bride! - Brides bring in 2 bridesmaids for any 2 treatments, and the Bride gets free Salt Glow with her treatments.
